Trinidadian born Brooklyn based artist, Alicia Aberdeen-Jones is founder and co-owner of Alicia Aberdeen Art, LLC. She is a self-taught artist with a degree in Media Arts and Animation. Also a teacher and philanthropist, with a corporate history in finance and contract management, Jones appreciates a fairly global perspective of the business of Art.
Pulling from her innermost parts, the work is rooted in rich Caribbean history and culture that undoubtedly form the cornerstone of her very being. Reflective of her love for humanity and layered in the fabric of life-experiences across countries and lifestyles, the passion is raw and unapologetic.
The freedoms of abstraction, the intricacies of portraiture and the longing that constructs every depiction of nostalgia, make up the bulk this Trinbagonian's focus.

Alicia is not just an artist; she is an experimenter, fearlessly pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
A true lover of mixed media, aesthetically pleasing texture and bold palettes, she creates rich and stunning pieces which then lend to immersive experiences in her award-winning annual philanthropic art show, Paintings In The Garden, seven years and counting. Her ability to cross-pollinate genres of the arts showcases her innovative approach to art, breaking free from traditional constraints.

Me and Mr. Jones got a thing going on!!
Alicia Aberdeen Art, LLC is a husband and wife team with professional backgrounds in Finance, Accounting and Contract Management. We've merged our business senses with my creative prowess to form our little family company. And in keeping with our strong beliefs in paying it forward, we go a step further in donating a percentage of all our PITG Event revenues towards charitable causes.
Come join us in celebrating the beautiful artwork and make a real difference in someone's life at the same time!
Cheers!
